How to share databases between few users

You may use one database file for few users. Database path is kept in registry in My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ \Dot4soft\Contact\Settings OdbcDNS key. The key should be like this Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};dbq=\%user profile%\contactdb.mdb.

Please notice, that Business Contacts registration is prized per one computer. If you have one database and few users, each user should have registered application.

Copy and Back up

All data in Business Contacts are kept in one mdb file. By default this file is in ..\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Dot4Soft\Contact\Data folder. File name is ContactDB.mdb. Copy this file to safe place.
